![]() ![]() ![]() It would be great to know exactly how much it costs me to charge though. The Wifi features of the Jukebox are nice but not really necessary, as my Prius Prime would charge in around 2.5 hours on seemingly any Level 2 EVSE.The ClipperCreek LCS-20 and 30 seem like they'd work just fine for my Prime, but for the price difference it seems like it'd make more sense in the long run to get a more powerful version unless the difference for my electrician to install a 20A circuit vs a 40A circuit is significant. Is there something I'm missing? Any reason I would pick the HCS-40 over the Pro 40? it seems like the JuiceBox does more and costs less compared to the ClipperCreek.Any of these easier to secure than the other? I'm leaning towards a plug in version, though I don't want it to be easily stolen by someone who knows how much these things cost.My HOA is a bunch of cranky old people, so the less noticeable the EVSA, the better. The cable Toyota gave me is 24' and only JUST reaches my car when I back in, so a new cable has to be at least that long.I live in a townhouse and have no garage, so the EVSE would need to be mounted outside. Here's some additional details that might help. I live in Delaware, and the state is offering a 50% rebate on new EVSE purchases too, so that helps a lot.Īnyway, my research has got me stuck between the JuiceBox Pro 40 and the ClipperCreek HCS-40, two EVSEs I've seen a lot in this subreddit. Just got a Prius Prime, and figured if I'm going to get a spare cable, I may as well invest in a quality EVSE to future proof. ![]()
